Kyle Miller has been playing guitar with various bands throughout the Twin Cities since the age of 16. Kyle is a graduate of McNally Smith College of Music with a degree in Recording Technology and a minor emphasis in Guitar Performance.
He spent 7 years teaching guitar and bass with various companies early on in his career. He has performed at a wide variety of venues throughout the metro such as Gluek’s Bar, Kieran’s Irish Pub, Mayslacks, Bayside Grille, Floyd’s Bar, The Narrows and numerous breweries.
Influenced by some of the guitar greats like David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler, Derek Trucks, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Tommy Emmanuel, Kyle brings a hybrid playing style that creates melodic leads with percussive and syncopated rhythms. Creating and layering funky guitar riffs is a true talent of his. He’s been quoted saying, “I love playing music that the audience cannot help but move to, music that transports you to a place where you just feeling like doing an awkward dance without a worry in the world.”
